Ryan Ellis led the Windsor Spitfires(18-11-0-1) with two goals and an assist to a 4-3 victory over the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds(1-15-4-0) at the WFCU Center before a crowd of 6012. Nick Ebert added the other pair of goals, both in the first period. This was the last OHL game of 2010 for captain Ryan Ellis and Zack Kassian as they are both going to Toronto to train for Team Canada’s World Juniors team on Saturday.
The Spits go back on the road Saturday to play the Sarnia Sting, but are back on Sunday at the WFCU Center to take on the Kingston Frontenac’s.
