The City of Windsor’s Heritage Committee plans to officially designate the Struthers-Ross House located at 2161 Riverside Drive West.
The house, near the University of Windsor, was build in 1906 in the Mussion/Spanish Colonial Revival style. It was converted to a multiple-family- style house in the 1950s.
Heritage elements include its stucco finish, wide arched windows and a second-story front porch.
Aside from having heritage qualities, the house is of an architectural style unique to the area.
