The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called into investigate an early morning fire Friday in the 200 block of Ford.
Fire crews were called to the home just before 6am and were able to bring the fire under control quickly.
One person was sent to hospital with critical injuries. Windsor Fire says that the woman passed away over the weekend.
The investigation continues.
