In Walkerville / Near Downtown? Find Out If Your Street Will Be Repaved

Several side streets in Walkerville and areas near Downtown will be repaved soon under a priority plan by Councillor Alan Halberstadt that will cost a total of $1 million dollars.
The following streets are on the repaving list:
- Langlois from Assumption to Riverside
- Chilver from Ottawa to Richmond
- Hanna from Elsmere to Parent
- Tuscarora from Aylmer to Marentette
- Argyle from Ontario to Ottawa
- The alley between Howard and Lillian between Erie and Giles
- Erie Street where it forms a dead end off of Lincoln
- Via Italia Streetscaping
Funding for the project comes from a one million dollar City Council allocation to each of Windsor’s ten municipal wards for projects deemed necessary to neighbourhoods. The project must still be approved by City Council.
