If you walk around Downtown Windsor on any given weekend, you are going to be bombarded with sound from all directions; the shouts of the bar-goers making their rounds, untsa-untsa from the dance clubs, the melodies of the live performers at various venues, and sirens from the police cruisers and ambulances dealing with the results of it all.
This week the sounds from the music venues were exceptionally rich, with an exciting and diverse range of bands performing.
At FM Lounge strong-rockers EVL played with The STiG and Magnificent Bastards, minus front-man Jamie Greer.
Phog Lounge played host to a couple of out-of-town bands, as well as one local. Kestrels from Halifax flew in for the show, and had some great stories of catching last-minute flights and high-fiving airline personnel to make it here. They opened for locals Club Thunderbolt and Ringo Deathstarr, a crazy loud and very-hyped band from Austin, Texas.
One Man’s Opinion decided to break their hiatus for a bit and play a show at The Room with Ravenscode, Against All Evil, and Livi.
While these are just a few of the shows I was able to get photos of, there were of course plenty of others.
FAM Fest is in its’ final weekend, so there was plenty going on for that, including Vultures? at Villains, and Red Red Run with The Nefidovs at The Coach and Horses.
