Emad Abdel Ben-Abdellah, the suspect wanted in connection to a rash of stabbings on the campus of the University of Windsor, turned himself in to police on Sunday afternoon.
Ben-Abdellah became involved in an altercation at the door of the “Thirsty Scholar Pub”, Friday morning when he allegedly stabbed a 20-year-old man in the back, and also slashed a 19-year-old man. Both victims received non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released at Hotel Dieu Hospital.
After stabbing the first two victims, Ben-Abdellah then ran toward a group of people walking through the Assumption Church parking lot located directly north of the CAW Centre, and stabbed a 23-year-old man in the right leg and buttock.
Ben-Abdellah is set to appear in court on Monday.
The Thirsty Scholar Pub that is located in the CAW Student Centre remains closed.
