Windsor Police are investigating after shots were fired at a home and a vehicle was set on fire in East Windsor.

Police say that just before 7:00am Thursday, they were called to shots being fired in the 1500 block of Monticello Street. Officers discovered multiple bullet holes in the exterior of a residence. Officers learned that a white cube van had been seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.
Shortly after, police were called to the nearby area, where a fire had intentionally been set to a white cube van.

No injuries were reported as a result of these incidents.

Investigators are asking residents in the immediate vicinity of both incidents to check their video surveillance or dashcam footage for evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830. They can also submit tips anonymously to Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
