The Grove Brewing Company celebrated the opening of there new location at 86 Wigle Avenue in Kingsville over the long weekend, and hit a benchmark. The craft brewery served 2430 pints to nearly 2000 people over the Victoria Day weekend.
“Considering our operating hours, that’s almost a beer served every minute,” said co-owner Jeff Smith. “We’re ecstatic to be back open for business and it looks like everyone else feels the same way. The community support has been overwhelmingly positive!”
After closing its original location at 12 Main Street East back in January, they have moved all operations to its newly constructed facility. The 7500 sq foot craft brewery boasts a larger production area and includes a 2500 sq foot dining room with a full kitchen, local art, a public walk-in beer fridge, and a 40 tap draught tower.
“We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again; our local community past and present is a massive part of who we are,” said Smith. “We’ve designed our new home around the concept of gathering and celebration, and it seems like the people of Windsor/Essex are settling in just fine.”
