The Windsor Essex County Health Unit announced 136 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County on Wednesday. The Health Unit now only reports high-risk cases as testing eligibility is still limited.

There are 695 cases of COVID-19 currently active in Windsor-Essex (increase of 39 cases since yesterday).
Vaccinations
Here’s the Health Unit’s vaccination update for today (residents of Windsor-Essex).
- 353,869 people have received at least one dose of a vaccine (+149 since yesterday)
- 336,993 people have received both doses of a vaccine (+274 since yesterday)
- 181,980 people have received a 3rd dose/booster shot of a vaccine (+465 since yesterday)
Vaccination Percentages
- 85.7 per cent of Windsor-Essex residents (ages 5+) have received at least one dose of a vaccine (increase of < 0.1 per cent since yesterday)
- 81.7 per cent of Windsor-Essex residents (ages 5+) are fully vaccinated (increase of 0.1 per cent since yesterday)
- 52.0 per cent of Windsor-Essex residents (ages 18+) have received a 3rd dose/booster (increase of 0.1 per cent since yesterday)
