The Catholic School Board is reporting COVID-19 cases at seven more schools in Windsor-Essex on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday:
- Two classes of students and one bus cohort from St. Andre Catholic Elementary School in Tecumseh was dismissed after receiving notification of two confirmed cases.
- One class of students and one bus cohort from St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School was dismissed after receiving notification of one confirmed case.
Thursday:
- Three classes of students from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School were dismissed after receiving notification of three confirmed cases.
- One class of students and one bus cohort from Stella Maris Catholic Elementary School was dismissed after receiving notification of one confirmed case.
- Two classes of students and to bus cohorts from Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Elementary School was dismissed after receiving notification of four confirmed cases.
- One class of students from St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School in Tecumseh was dismissed after receiving notification of one confirmed case.
- Three classes of students and one bus cohort from St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Elementary School in Kingsville was dismissed after receiving notification of three confirmed cases.
The health unit will notify those students when they are able to return to school.
