Chantal Laporte of Windsor, seized the moment, playing new Instant Top Up to win the jackpot, which had grown to $66,044.30 when it was won.
Laporte, a 42-year-old mother, said she isn’t a regular lottery player but enjoys playing Instant Top Up.
“When I realized I won, I couldn’t believe it. I was with my daughter and we started crying and hugging each other,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
She plans to pay some bills, visit family, and is considering a trip to Mexico.
The winning ticket was purchased at Wings Variety on Totten Street in Windsor.
