The 54th Art by the River event is happening this weekend, a staple fundraiser for Gibson Gallery.
The event has taken over the grounds of the Fort Malden National Historic Site once again, welcoming attendees to walk the shores of the Detroit River while being able to enjoy shopping of unique goods and crafts. A variety of booths are spread around the grounds, featuring something for everyone, including jewelry, wood crafts, garden décor, custom made items and much more.
This year’s event has made several adjustments to accommodate for public health guidelines, including one-way traffic, reduced capacity, no food concessions, and masks are mandatory.
Entry for the event is $5.00, and children under 12 may enter for free accompanied with an adult. The event runs August from 28th-29th, and is open 10 a.m to 5 p.m at Fort Malden National Historic Site in Amherstburg. Check out their website here for more information.
