After a successful first weekend running, “The Ace of Suede” will be performed again this weekend by Rob Tymec.
This one-man play written by Joey Ouellette tells the story of a young boy from Moosehip, Ontario whose life is turned upside down when the girl he is about to propose to is spirited away from him by a World War I Flying Ace, known by his fellow pilots as “The Ace of Suede”. In an attempt to get her back, he travels halfway across the country and ends up becoming a fighter pilot, himself. An adventure that is both touching and humourous that offers a bit of a history lesson and pays respect to the soldiers who have fallen to protect our freedom.
Adult admission is $8.00 and children $4.00 . The gallery is located at 264 Dalhousie Street in downtown Amherstburg.
