House Fire Damages South Windsor Home

Windsor firefighters have extinguished a house fire in South Windsor.

Crews were called just after 4:00pm Monday to the 3100 block of Avondale Avenue, just north of Norfolk Street, for reports of fire inside a home.

Firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke in the home.

After fighting the fire, the blaze was brought under control within several minutes.

No injuries are reported at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
