A large fire on the west end of Windsor knocked out power and sent flames high into Tuesday evening’s sky.
The large pallet and debris fire broke out just before 9:00 pm at Crawford and Tecumseh Road West.
Multiple fire units were called to the scene, and it was brought under control quickly.
The fire was declared out at 9:40pm.
Fire officials say the cause is suspected to be as a result of the transformer failure above which also caused the neighbourhood power outage.
The fire did not spread to any buildings.
