23 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Windsor Essex As Of Saturday

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 23 new cases of COVID-19 as of Saturday, bringing the local total to 3,067. They say 2,816 people locally have recovered.
Cases increased from 3,044 on Friday November 13th to 3,067 on Saturday November 14th and 175 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says 13 cases are agri-farm workers, 2 cases are community acquired, 2 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 1 case is a local healthcare worker, and 5 cases are still under investigation
There have been no additional deaths due to COVID-19 as of Saturday and the local death toll stands at 76.
As of Saturday, the Health Unit lists 2 people as hospitalized, and 2 people in the ICU with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Windsor Essex. However 5 hospitalization are listed at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Long-term Care / Retirement Home Outbreaks
As of Saturday there are four outbreaks:
- Berkshire Care Center (Windsor) has 1 staff case
- Riverside Place (Windsor) has 2 staff cases
- Lifetimes on Riverside (Windsor) has 4 resident cases and 4 staff cases
- Iller Lodge (Essex) has 15 resident cases and 1 staff case
Workplace Outbreaks
As of Saturday there is one workplace outbreak at an agri-farm in Leamington.
