A house fire in the 1500 block of Totten caused $300,000 in damage.
It broke out around 5:30am and firefighters had to pull out of the house due to unsafe conditions and fight it from the outside.
It took over two hours to bring it under control.
Officials say that substantial damage will prevent a scene investigation, but fire appears to have started in the basement.
No injuries were reported.
