Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Wednesday and Thursday.
Daytime high temperatures will be near 30°C or 86°F degrees with humidex values in the high 30’s°C or over 90°F.
Overnight low temperatures are expected to be near 20°C or 68°F, which will not provide much relief from the heat.
Hot and humid conditions are expected through the weekend so the heat event may continue for a few days.
