The cost of purchasing a residential parking permit could be going up.
Parking permits for the past ten years have started at the current rate of $30 per year. City Administration is recommending that be increased to $35 per year in 2019.
The city says based on 1412 permits sold in 2018, this means an increase of approximately $7,060.
City Council will make the final decision at their budget meetings on April 1st and 2nd.
