Two Children Hit By Car

OPP are investigating after two children and an adult were hit by a car in Belle River.

Police say the crash happened at the intersection of First Street and Notre Dame Street in the Town of Belle River today at noon, Friday.

Police say a white Ford Taurus operated by a 21 year old female was turning westbound from Belle River Road onto Notre Dame Street when her vehicle struck an adult and two children standing together near the northwest corner of the intersection.

All three pedestrians were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
