Hiram Walker was born 200 years ago, on July 4th 1816, and the Walkerville BIA is celebrating.
A two-day celebration is planned on Friday, July 1st, 2016 and Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 that includes street closures, extended patios and the annual Canada Day Parade.
On Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 1pm, Mayor Drew Dilkens will be joined by representatives from the Walkerville BIA at the Walkerville Brewery to make a special announcement related to the commemoration of Hiram Walker’s 200th birthday, and his significance to the history of the City of Windsor. The event will include a Toast to Hiram Walker.
