The Remington Park Cancer Cluster investigation is ongoing by the Health Unit and has now moved to the interviewing and data collection phase.
The health Unit is looking to administer a questionnaire to the 24 individuals or their next of kin, who were diagnosed with lung cancer between 2000-2009 in the defined Remington Park area.
They say that once they are able to analyze the data, they will then determine how to move forward.
Their investigation began in March after concerns were raised regarding a reported cancer cluster in the Remington Park area.
The focus has been on Remington Park residents who were diagnosed with primary lung cancer between the years of 2000 and 2009.
