After enormous success in 2014, hundreds turned out Friday evening for the start of the Walkerville Night Market’s second season.
The event, which is held the last Friday of each month until October, features local farmers, crafters, businesses, musicians and artists. The main attraction was planned for the parking lot of The Willistead Restaurant at Wyandotte and Chilver but has spilled over across Wyandotte Street to the Gourmet Emporium’s parking lot.
Friday’s event had more than thirty unique vendors, live music, a kids craft corner, balloon animals, face painting and food from The Willistead Restaurant.
The next Walkerville Night Market takes place Friday June 26th, 2015.
