Windsor police are using a different approach to catching distracted drivers.
Officers in plainclothes were deployed in various areas of the city on Wednesday.
Officers were monitoring traffic looking for drivers using cell phones.
The plainclothes officers then called in information to traffic units in the area, who ,made the traffic stop.
Police say that in two hours Wednesday morning, 30 vehicles were pulled over.
