The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has made a second quarter (July 1st – September 30th) payment totaling $2,342,244 to the City of Windsor for hosting Caesars Windsor.
So far, during OLG’s fiscal year (April 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024), Windsor has received $5,739,340. Since the gaming site opened in May 1994, Windsor has received $88,178,846.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
