Demotion of buildings at the site of the August 26th explosion in Wheatley has begun.
Officials say the plan is to demolish 19 Erie Street North, followed by 15 Erie Street North, followed by the concrete slab at 9 Talbot Trail.
Once that work is complete, investigators hope to be able to get a better picture of the source of the explosion and gas leaks that have followed.
