The Salvation Army Christmas kettle campaign is looking for bell ringers.
“We cannot reach our goal without our amazing volunteer Army,” said Major Dan Pinksen, Executive Director at the Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope. “We have an immediate need of volunteers to serve as “bell ringers”. If you have spare time of 2 hours of more and would like to volunteer, please contact the kettle coordinator, Leena, at 519-971-5878 or [email protected] or you can sign up on our website at www.salvationarmywindsor.ca.”
The annual campaign runs to December 24th at retail locations throughout greater Windsor region. The Kettle Campaign is The Salvation Army’s largest public fundraising drive of the year and relies on the funds raised to feed, clothe, shelter, support and empower those in need in our region throughout the year.
This years goal is $350,000. All donations stay local to fund local programs and services. Last year, The Salvation Army in Windsor supported thousands of individuals, families and children.
“It is our privilege to continue to serve the residents of Windsor region for over 100 years. We are inviting the generous people of the greater Windsor region to help us help others by supporting our annual kettle campaign.” says Major Dan Pinksen, Executive Director at the Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope.
