The Town of LaSalle will be holding their inaugural Holiday Lights Heritage Nights event at the LaSalle Civic Centre from November 26th, 2021 to January 9th, 2022.
The outdoor light display will transform the LaSalle Civic Centre into a outdoor walk-through holiday and light experience, including numerous ornamental/holiday lighting displays and a forty-foot-tall walk-through Christmas tree. The lights will be on daily at 6 pm.
“We are looking forward to showcasing the LaSalle Civic Centre for the holidays with an outdoor light display,” said Mayor Marc Bondy. “This annual outdoor event will bring the holidays to life in LaSalle as we celebrate the magic of the season.”
On the weekends from November 26th to December 19th, the Town will host Food Truck Fridays, Sounds of the Season Saturdays and Sunday Night Markets. Visitors will have the opportunity to see Santa and other characters, eat some delicious food, enjoy entertainment for the season and support our local vendors.
“This event compliments our strong community activities as we extend them into the shoulder season of the fall and into the winter. We are welcoming the community and visitors back to our events in a safe manner,” said Scott Bisson, Manager of Culture and Recreation.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place including wearing a mask at all times and distancing. In addition, vendors and visitors to the Sunday Night Markets will need to provide proof of vaccination as that event will be held inside the LaSalle Civic Centre.
