The University of Windsor Lancers are set to welcome fans back to Alumni Stadium.
Tickets for the 2021 Lancer Football & Soccer seasons will go on sale Monday, September 20th at noon, and will be available online at www.goLancers.ca/tickets.
The Lancer soccer program opens the 2021 season on Wednesday, September 22nd against the Guelph Gryphons at Alumni Stadium. The women kick off the action at 5:00pm, followed by the men at 7:15pm.
Lancer football plays their first home game of the season on Saturday, October 2nd, also against the Gryphons, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00pm.
There are many changes and new procedures at the stadium. Alumni Stadium is currently operating at limited capacity of 750 spectators in accordance with the latest provincial, city, and university reopening guidelines. All seating is general admission, and spectators are encouraged to sit in pods of 2 to 4 people from the same household or social bubble with a minimum 2m distance between them.
Tickets will be available for purchase online and any tickets remaining on game day will be available at the gate one hour prior to kick-off.
Gates to Alumni Stadium are open 60 minutes before the scheduled game time. Spectators are asked to allow approximately 15 minutes for symptom screening when they arrive at the facility. Those who exit the stadium at any point will not be permitted re-entry into the facility.
The University policy requires that all spectators for Lancer varsity games must be fully vaccinated to enter their facilities. No partially vaccinated or exemptions will be permitted.
All spectators must provide valid photo identification, download and complete the Safe Lancer App, have their approved QR Code scanned, and also provide proof of vaccination at the gate to be granted entry.
Fans are required to always wear a face mask while in Alumni Stadium, except when actively eating or drinking. Food and beverage concessions will be open, however a very limited selection of pre-packaged goods, as well as Coca-Cola products will be available for sale.
