Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Windsor and Essex County.
They say snow will move into Southwestern Ontario this evening due to a low pressure system that is forecast to track south of the region through Wednesday morning.
Environment Canada says snowfall amounts of 5 to 10cm are possible but due to the uncertain track of the weather system, and warm ground temperatures, total snowfall amounts expected could change.
The main hazards will be slippery road conditions and reduced visibility in falling snow. The Wednesday morning commute may be impacted. Environment Canada says it’s advised to postpone non-essential travel until conditions improve.
