Lakeshore Waives Fees for Temporary Outdoor Restaurant Patios

Lakeshore is waving the site plan control agreement and the encroachment agreement fees for temporary outdoor patios during the 2021 season.
“We support our restaurant industry and recognize the hardships they have experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic” stated Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain. “We are hopeful the waiving of these fees will help them recover and we encourage everyone to continue to support our local businesses and restaurants.”
Restaurants are required to work with the municipality to develop plans for their outdoor patios. Owners can contact the Planning department at 519-728-2700.
