Drowning In Lake Erie

A 28-year-old man has died after drowning in Lake Erie.
OPP say it happened around 4pm on July 12th, 2020, in the waters of Lake Erie near Wheatley Provincial Park.
They say that the male went into the water and appeared to be underwater for approximately ten minutes. He was brought out of the water, and CPR was conducted.
The male was transported to the hospital by EMS but pronounced deceased at the hospital.
