LaSalle Town Hall is set to reopen Wednesday after being closed due to COVID-19 back in March.
Access into the building will be limited, and a security guard will be monitoring access to Town Hall at the entrance closest to the parking lot. Patrons are encouraged to make an appointment in advance when meeting with Town personnel.
The town says that enhanced cleaning is taking place in the building and shields have been installed at the customer service counters.
Patrons will be asked to complete self-assessment screening questions and to sanitize their hands before entering the building. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to leave and contact the Town by phone, email or through the customer service portal.
“The Town provides essential services to our community, and customer service is important to us. We are putting a number of protocols and measures in place to keep our employees and visitors safe. Our residents and business owners have many options to contact us to conduct their business,” said Marc Bondy, Mayor.
The LaSalle Branch of the Essex County Library, the LaSalle Friendship Seniors Centre and the atrium remain closed.
