A popular downtown restaurant is closing its doors.
Rino’s Kitchen announced on Facebook Sunday it will close for good on Friday, January 31st.
Located at 131 Elliott Street West, Rino’s was founded ten years ago by now City Councillor Rino Bortolin and sold to current owner Josh Fraser several years ago.
“It’s time for a new chapter. It has been such a blessing to be able to host weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers and first dates. We truly feel honoured to have been able to share so many wonderful moments in people’s lives. To see other businesses use our upstairs space as a springboard for greater success has been one of our great joys,” said the Facebook posting.
Hours of operation this coming week are 3pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday, with a final party planned for Friday, January 31st. Reservations for this week are encouraged and can be done by calling 519-962-8843.
