Police Investigating Robbery With A Firearm

Windsor Police continue to investigating the circumstances leading up to an adult male receiving a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.

Police say that around 1:25pm on Monday, January 27th, 2020 they were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Ouellette Avenue.

Soon after, an on-duty patrol officer who was at the downtown hospital on an unrelated matter, reported that an adult male had just attended hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. The injured male had arrived at the hospital in a silver Ford Escort.

Officers received information that the two incidents may be related and an investigation was launched.

Scenes in the 1300 block of Ouellette Avenue and 1300 block of Pelissier Street were contained as well to assist in the investigation.

No firearm has been recovered.
