All Public Schools Closed Wednesday

There is no deal between the Ontario Secondary Schools Teachers’ Federation and the province and the one day strike planned for Wednesday will go ahead.
This means:
- All Greater Essex County District School Board schools – Elementary, Secondary & Continuing Education – will be closed
- Student transportation for GECDSB students will be cancelled
- Early On centres operated at GECDSB schools will be closed
- Curiosity Club will be cancelled
- YMCA Kids Club will be cancelled
- Coop students will not report to their placements
- School-based daycare centres may be open – clients are asked to contact their providers
GECDSB schools, student transportation and programs are scheduled to resume operation on Thursday, December 5th.
