Tecumseh To Add Designated Veterans Parking

The Town of Tecumseh is adding a dedicated parking space for veterans at two town parking lots.
One will be added at the municipal parking lot abutting the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261 on Lesperance Road and another at Tecumseh Town Hall.
The idea was put forward by Deputy Mayor Bachetti and was council approved Tuesday evening.
The designated spots will be identified by the Poppy trademark, which will require an agreement with the Royal Canadian Legion.
