A Windsor resident is fighting for their life after a crash on the 401 Tuesday near Woodstock.
According to the OPP, the single motor vehicle collision happened around 2:45pm.
They say that the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 401 when the driver lost control and collided with the concrete median separating the westbound lanes. The vehicle then glided across the top of the barrier and then re-entered the eastbound lanes where the vehicle then entered the south ditch coming to a rest.
As a result, the 66-year-old driver from Windsor was transported to a local area hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
