Rehabilitation of the Turkey Creek Bridge is set to get under way on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019.
This project will repair the existing structure. The bridge over Turkey Creek was built in the 1960’s, and these are the first major repairs that have been made. This project is expected to last until the end of October.
During construction, Front Road will be reduced from four lanes of traffic to two lanes for bridge rehabilitation.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route if one is available, but the delays should be short.
There will be four full closures scheduled, and those will take place at night. The first one will take place in June. Residents will be notified prior to the closures.
