The seventh annual Heart Breaker Challenge took place at Malden Park Saturday afternoon, getting participants muddy and messy with a smile. The event challenges everyone on the five to seven kilometer course to go through various obstacles such as mud puddles, climbing walls, and balancing activities.
While the event is fun and enjoyable, the focus of the event is to raise funds for the Cardiac, Stroke & Pulmonary Rehab Programs at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. Over $500,000.00 has been raised by the challenge so far, with 100% of proceeds going to the local program.
