Fort Malden National Historic Site will reopen for the 2019 season this Saturday, May 18th, 2019 and there is plenty of fun planned this summer.
Kicking off the season on Sunday, June 16th is the Father’s Day Hands on History & Lumberjack Breakfast.
On Canada Day, Fort Malden will once again host a day of family-friendly activities and entertainment, along with fireworks beside the Detroit River at sunset.
A mid-summer Murder Mystery takes place on Saturday, July 20, with a historical twist. A new plot with seemingly innocent characters. Can you determine “who done it” to solve the mystery?
Back by popular demand is the second annual Escape Room & Games Festival on Saturday, August 3rd, featuring even more fun and games this year.
A weekend tradition since 1967, Art by the River, running on August 24th and 25th and will feature over 150 artists and artisans from across Ontario.
And to round out the season, re-enactors will bring the War of 1812 to life during the Essex County in the War of 1812 on September 28th and 29th.
