Thousands of people are heading to riverfront to grab an early spot to watch tonight’s fireworks.
Downtown Windsor buzzed with excitement as droves of fireworks goers travelled with lawn chairs and blankets down Ouellette.
City of Windsor parking enforcement was keen to ticket anyone parked illegally while the Windsor Police Auxiliary prepared to close key streets at 6pm.
The fireworks begin at 9:55pm.
