An overnight fire at a home under renovations in the 650 block of Caron Avenue is under investigation.
It broke out around 1am and heavy flames and smoke were visible on the first floor when firefighters arrived.
It was brought under control quickly. Damage to this vacant residence was estimated at approximately $50,000.
This is the second fire in a vacant home on Caron. The first was in the 400 block early Tuesday morning. Damage to this residence was estimated at approximately $50,000.
There were no injuries as a result of these incidents. The Windsor Police Arson Unit and Windsor Fire and Rescue continue to investigate.
