Residential house sales were up 16.409% in March, compared to the same time one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Last month, 660 homes were sold, compared with 567 in March 2016.
It was in Central and Downtown Windsor where most homes changed hands with 88 sold, followed by East Windsor with 82, and South Windsor saw 80 homes sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 67 houses sold, LaSalle saw 66 and Leamington 53.
Overall, for the first three months of 2017, 1,522 homes have sold compared to 1,347 in 2016, an increase of 12.99%
