A Windsor man has been killed in an industrial accident in Tecumseh.
The accident happened around 4pm Wednesday at R.J. CYR Company Inc. located in the 5000 block of Concession 8.
OPP say that a 51-year-old male was struck by a large steel beam reportedly weighing approximately 1200 pounds.
The Windsor man was rushed to an area hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating.
The name of the deceased is being held pending notification of next of kin.
