Residential house sales were up for the month of September compared to one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Last month, 553 homes were sold, compared with 508 in September 2015.
It was in Central/Downtown Windsor where most homes changed hands with 97 sold, followed by South Windsor with 82, and East Windsor saw 67 homes sold.
In the county, LaSalle was the most popular area with 54 houses sold, Leamington saw 50 and Amherstburg had 53.
