Leamington’s Lakeside Produce Takes Home Gold Medal for Blushes Tomato

Lakeside Produce Inc. in Leamington has been awarded a gold medal for their Blushes variety in the 2016 Best Hothouse Specialty Tomato category of the 2016 Greenhouse Competitions.

Organized by R.E.A.C.H. International, the 9th annual Greenhouse Competitions featured 159 entries across all of its categories including Hottest Tomato, Coolest Cucumber and Perfect Pepper.

Lakeside’s Blushes offer a distinct sweet flavour and a tasty bite. Lakeside Produce has been working for over a year to improve and perfect this particular seed and believes it will create a lasting impact on the industry moving forward.
