The 14th Annual Art, Walk and Rock takes place on the streets of Walkerville this Weekend.
“We’re inviting the world to stroll through the heart of Walkerville to see why we’re hot with free music and activities”, said Joe Fratangeli, WBIA Event Chair.
The summer street party starts Friday at 5pm and continues Saturday from 11am to 6pm with street-side entertainment continuing until 11pm.
From Wyandotte Street to Gladstone Avenue, see an eclectic collection of Essex County’s finest artists and small businesses showing off what it means to live, work and play in Walkerville. Participating businesses will also individually showcase art from all mediums: performers, creatives and additional artists.
This year, visitors can expect to get Kiss’d (AGAIN!) with returning Kiss tribute band, Destroyer taking the main stage at 9:30pm on Friday. Saturday, music lines the streets and the stage, including Crissi Cochrane, Midnight Metro, Nosa Moda, Our Infinite Space, Disaster Strike, Ted Hogan Combo and a full line-up of local talent hosted at The Walkerville Tavern for “Tara Wattstock”.
“We are excited to be in our 14th year and we’ve supersized the fun for the whole family and a special artistic installation planned just for this weekend!,” said Fratangeli.
