Here is a look at highway construction in the County of Essex. Lots of new projects get underway this week.
County Road 42:
From County Road 19 to Lesperance road will have lane restrictions for watermain construction from July 4th to July 29th, 2016.
County Road 27:
Will be closed (bridge out) for bridge rehabilitation from County Road 8 northerly to South Middle Road from July 4th to July 29th, 2016.
County Road 8:
At the Canard River (Bow String Bridge) will be closed for bridge rehabilitation until September 2nd.
County Road 21:
From County Road 42 to Little Baseline will have lane restrictions for watermain construction until July 15th, 2016.
County Road 43:
From Hwy 401 to County Road 42 will have lane restrictions from June 27th to July 8th, 2016.
County Road 27:
From County Road 14 to County Road 8 will have lane restrictions from June 27th to July 8th, 2016.
County Road 14:
From Graham Side Road to County Road 27 will have lane restrictions from June 27th to July 8th, 2016.
County Road 10:
From County Road 11 to County Road 9 will have lane restrictions from June 27th to July 8th, 2016.
County Road 29:
From County Road 18 to Highway 3 will have lane restrictions from July 4th to July 15th, 2016.
County Road 20:
From County Road 31 westerly to Whitewood Road will have lane restrictions from July 4th to July 30th, 2015.
Road Painting Operations:
Line painting on County Roads will occur throughout the warmer months. The operations are clearly identified with truck mounted signs. To avoid driving in the “wet paint” do not attempt to pass these slow moving trucks.
