The Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus unveiled their in-hospital Ronald McDonald house, the first Ronald McDonald house within a hospital ever built in Canada.
The room was first introduced by important speakers, including Ronald McDonald himself, which led to the anticipated ribbon cutting ceremony and tours of the house. Hundreds of people, including many political members, came to support the grand opening.
The house features bedrooms, nap rooms, a kitchen, living room, and even an area where residents can wash their clothes. The house provides anything a family who is using it would need while taking care of their children in the time they need them most, while keeping themselves up as well.
